Bourgeois Heirloom Series Country Boy D - Natural #0168
*We do all our own photography. The guitar pictured is the exact one you will receive!
Like a grandparent that grew up on a farm, this guitar has the practical knowledge that the rest of the family depends on in a power outage. Every note rings with the warm, dry wit of a seasoned provider. The Adirondack Spruce top has a beautiful grain, tight near the center, wider at the edges, and the mahogany back and sides are some of the prettiest pieces you’ll find this side of the 21st century. It’s all held together with hot hide glue, giving it the comfort and freedom of movement of a well broken-in pair of overalls.
Individual notes leap out like a single tree falling in the forest, and chords wash over you like a wind ripping through the canopy. The playability is extraordinary, as effortless as possible without compromising volume and sustain. One of my favorite things about this guitar is the way it articulates complex chords, weighing every interval like poetic verse. If your stable of 6-strings is lacking a leader, look no further.
