There is something so mesmerizing about Pelham Blue, and Collings does it right. When combined with their aging techniques, this is one of, if not the best-looking guitar that we've had at our shop. What's even crazier is that this 290 DC plays and sounds better than it looks. This particular one has some great upgrades that your standard 290 DC one would not include. First, it has 6150 Stainless Steel frets to make it a true lifetime instrument. Also, a wraparound Schaller Signum bridge has been installed, which is adjustable and compensated. With this bridge, the guitar will intonate perfectly. Finally, it has an Ivoroid bound fretboard, which ties everything together nicely. The Lollar P90s offer a wide variety of tones, with vintage warmth and a fat, round bass response. Colling's factory setup is to die for - Once you pick up this guitar, you can't put it down. It practically plays itself. All of these appointments come together magically and create a truly inspiring instrument with unmatched attention to detail. If you have any questions about this guitar, please feel free to reach out!

Some things are simply better in pairs. With a double-cutaway mahogany body and dual hand-wound P90 pickups from Jason Lollar, the 290 DC offers unhindered access to the upper frets and a wide range of tonal possibilities. From pristine clean tones with rich harmonic complexity to hard-hitting classic rock sounds, there are few bases the 290 DC cannot cover.
