Just into our shop is this incredible Gibson Southern Jumbo from 1946. The guitar has been carefully restored by a professional tech. It has been re-fretted, new nut, new bridge, All cracks have been repaired, and the tuning machines have also been replaced. There is no serial number, as many of the SJ's from this period did not. It does not have the original hardshell case, but a hardshell case is included.
Condition: Good. It has had several repairs. There is finish checking throughout the body, as well as dings, scratches, and some small paint chips. Plenty of life left in the frets. Overall, it is in great condition for it's age. Please see the included pictures.
Playability: The guitar has been professionally set up and plays and sounds incredible. No buzzing or fretting out. This thing is a cannon. It's a truly inspiring instrument.
