Here we have an absolutely stunning example of what the Private Stock team is capable of when left to simply, "let the wood speak for itself". Every decision made for this DGT's specs were made with tone and resonance in mind. Starting from the highly figured African Mahogany back and neck, the stunning, chocolaty Brazilian Rosewood fretboard to the Macassar Ebony top this thing was build to RIIIiiing! Another trick up the sleeve of this DGT is that we made it a semi-hollow without F-holes to give the guitar an even more acoustic quality. Another added benefit being that it's only 7lbs 15oz! Finally, to fully round out the recipe for sustain, we finished the guitar in the Private Stock's phenomenal satin nitro. This ultra thin finish allows the wood to resonate as freely as possible without the restrictions of gloss. If pure tone is your end goal, this guitar is the holy grail (not to mention it looks drop dead gorgeous). Even sitting on a stand, you can almost see this guitar humming, just waiting to take off!
