Blackstar Amps have long been a player in the entry and mid-level tube amplifier market. Blackstar has raised the bar with the release of the St. James tube amp line. The St. James lineup consists of a EL34 model and a 6L6 model.
The EL34 amp recreates historic British voiced crunch along with America voiced cleans. The 6L6 is much cleaner than EL34 version and is a great choice for the player looking for an amp for a pedal platform.
Both amplifiers are 47% lighter than traditional tube amplifiers of similar size.
