Charvel Guitars is an electric guitar company created by Wayne Charvel in the 1970's. Charvel's are known for their heavy metal sound and fast playability. Heavy Metal guitarist Eddie Van Halen, Jake E. Lee, George Lynch, Richie Sambora and many others have chosen Charvel for their weapon of choice.

Charvel Guitars was purchased by the Fender Musical Instrument Corporation in 2002. Since the acquisition, they have launched the EVH Striped Series Guitars, Pro Mod, The MJ Series, USA Select, Artist Signature and Custom Shop guitars.
