The Fender Custom Shop Limited Edition Roasted Pine Double Esquire pairs the unmistakable feel of an early Blackguard Tele with the lightweight resonance and responsiveness of a roasted pine body. Finished in classic 2-Tone Sunburst, this limited-edition model captures the timeless look of Fender's earliest solidbody guitars while offering the meticulous craftsmanship and attention to detail that define the Custom Shop. The substantial 1950 Blackguard neck profile delivers an authentic vintage playing experience, while a pair of Custom Shop Hand-Wound '50-'51 Blackguard pickups produce the articulate twang, dynamic response, and rich harmonic character that made the original Blackguards legendary. Combined with vintage-style hardware and premium Custom Shop construction, this Limited Edition Double Esquire is a distinctive instrument that faithfully celebrates Fender's earliest designs while delivering exceptional tone and playability.
