Why Consign with Midwood?

We help guitar owners across the U.S. sell vintage, boutique, and premium instruments for top market value—without the hassle of dealing with listings, shipping, low ballers, or authentication concerns. Our customers are our number one priority & we're not focused on the number of guitars we sell each month. We are looking for quality used & vintage gear >$1,500.
We negotiate on your behalf

We agree on a list price and lowest acceptable offer. We do not contact you during the negotiation period unless we're not getting any interest.

Fully insured while in our care

Your gear is insured by our insurance carrier for MGS.

Nationwide buyer network

We have a large pool of local customers as well as customers across the USA plus we market-advertise via email campaigns/social media & YouTube to attract new leads.

Professional authentication and market evaluation

We thoroughly inspect the guitar for finish modifications & verify electronics are original. We use the Vintage Guitar Buying Guide and our relevant sold listings to determine market value.

Expert setup, cleaning, and inspection

Our Luthier inspects; cleans & sets up every guitar we sell. We'll notify you if your guitar needs any repairs and give you a cost to make the repairs. We can settle up after your guitar has sold.

Professional photography

Our professional photographer photo's new, used and consignment inventory several times a week. We use high-quality cameras and listings go live within a week of arriving, sometimes sooner.
