The definitive roots of the solid-body electric guitar, refined for the modern connoisseur. Straight from the Fender Custom Shop, this 1950 Pine Esquire is a breathtaking tribute to the "Day One" of Fender history. Featuring the rare and historically accurate Time Capsule (TCP) finish—a "No Buff" NOS Flash Coat Lacquer that mimics the look and feel of a brand-new instrument found in a 1950s shop window—this guitar exudes an understated, vintage elegance. Built with a resonant Vintage Pine body and a stout 1950 Blackguard "U" neck profile, it offers a visceral, tactile playing experience. The "Full Throttle" Esquire wiring paired with a Hand-Wound '50-'51 Blackguard bridge pickup delivers that legendary, unfiltered bite and chime that only a single-pickup machine can provide.
