The Fender Custom Shop Limited Edition Fat ’54 Stratocaster Relic with Closet Classic Hardware brings the character of an early Stratocaster together with the craftsmanship of the Fender Custom Shop. This example features an Aged Black Relic lacquer finish over a two-piece select ash body and a quartersawn maple neck, paired with three hand-wound Custom Shop Fat ’50s pickups that deliver the crisp, articulate sound associated with classic Stratocasters. First-year-inspired details include the single-ply white pickguard, 1954-style white ABS pickup covers and knobs, vintage-style tuners, disc string tree and 70th Anniversary neck plate. Closet Classic hardware complements the aged finish, giving this Stratocaster an authentic vintage-inspired appearance while retaining the feel and performance of a modern Custom Shop instrument.
