The Taylor Builder’s Edition 814ce takes Taylor’s flagship Grand Auditorium and elevates it with a powerful Adirondack spruce and Indian rosewood tonewood combination, V-Class bracing, and a collection of comfort-focused design features. The four-piece Adirondack spruce top delivers impressive volume, projection and dynamic response, while the solid Indian rosewood back and sides provide warmth, depth and rich overtones. A beveled armrest, beveled cutaway and subtle body taper make the guitar exceptionally comfortable to play, while the Gotoh 510 tuners and Taylor Expression System 2 electronics add precision and versatility. Finished in gloss with a Kona edgeburst on the back and sides, this Builder’s Edition 814ce is a refined, modern Taylor that delivers the power and tonal complexity expected from a premium rosewood-and-spruce Grand Auditorium.
