This guitar perfectly recreates that of which created a staple in guitar and music history forever. Replicating tones that have been sought after for over 70 years all while having that classic vintage Les Paul feel. We are thrilled to offer this amazing guitar to you, this is a fun one that will be incredibly hard to put down! The new Les Paul Standard 50s Plain Top returns to the classic design that made it relevant, played, and loved – shaping sound across generations and genres of music. It pays tribute to Gibson's Golden Era of Innovation and brings authenticity back to life. The Les Paul Standard 50s Plain Top has a solid mahogany body with a plain maple top and a mahogany neck with a rounded, 50s Vintage profile with a rosewood fingerboard and trapezoid inlays. It's equipped with an ABR-1, the classic-style Tune-O-Matic™ bridge, an aluminum Stop Bar tailpiece, Vintage Deluxe tuners with Keystone buttons, and gold Top Hat knobs. The calibrated Burstbucker™ 1 (neck) and Burstbucker 2 (bridge) pickups are loaded with Alnico 2 magnets and wired to audio taper potentiometers and Orange Drop™ capacitors. Now available in vivid custom colors, a hardshell case completes the package.
