The 2012 Baker b3 Phoenix was built by the Premier Builders Guild led by Gene Baker, a former Fender Custom Shop Master Builder. 

The Phoenix is celebrated for its hybrid design, seamlessly blending the body contours and aesthetic of a Gibson Firebird with the functional layout, and twang of a Fender Telecaster. Under the PBG boutique manufacturing process, the 2012 Phoenix models were built to incredibly high standards, featuring premium tone woods, custom electronics, and exceptional attention to fretwork and playability.
