Whether you’re after thick cleans, crunchy midrange bite, or searing lead tones, this compact 1x12 combo nails it all—at any volume. Thanks to Carr’s brilliant built-in attenuator, you can push the amp’s full-throated 16 watts down to a whisper without losing its character, making it equally at home in the studio, rehearsal space, or on stage.

With dual volume controls for High and Low channels, a three-way Boost switch, and a classic 3-band EQ, the Mercury V covers everything from vintage ’60s chime to ’70s crunch, ’80s roar, and modern high-gain grind. The channels can be run in parallel like a jumpered four-hole head or cascaded for massive saturation. Add in lush spring reverb and a Line Out for recording or PA, and you’ve got an amp that does it all.

Handcrafted in North Carolina, the Mercury V is built with Carr’s signature attention to detail—dovetailed pine cabinets, custom USA-made transformers, premium caps and resistors, and true point-to-point wiring. It’s boutique quality through and through.
