Morgan Amplification Custom Shop 30/6 2X12 Combo Amplifier (2022)

This stunning preowned 30/6 comes to us from Morgan Amplification's Custom Shop. Hand-wired by Joe Morgan himself, this amp was originally commissioned in October 2021, it predates a later nine-unit run that was made. This one is built into a classic AC30-style cabinet loaded with 2 Celestion Blues.

Condition: Excellent. It has lived in a road case most of its life. No notable signs of use. Very well cared for a maintained. 

Authentic vintage Vox soul, with modern twis
This Morgan AC30 faithfully recreates the late‑'50s Vox topology: a quartet of EL84 tubes in push–pull (30 W class‑AB), no negative feedback in the power section, and the robust voice that defined the British Invasion Crucially, it includes the revered Top‑Boost circuit (12AX7-based) for that chirpy “chime and warmth” Voc-powered gain stage. But brassier tones come courtesy of a dedicated EF86‑driven channel, adding grit, touch sensitivity, and harmonic richness—channel flexibility most early ’60s Voxes lacked

Loaded with a pair of 12″ Celestion Alnico Blues, it delivers the lush yet articulate response responsible for AC30’s “bell-like top-end, warm lows, mellow upper-mids—classic musical compression when pushed”

Constructed in the U.S. with hand-wired turret board techniques, it exudes rugged reliability and handcrafted charm. In “mint” condition, this amp shows almost no wear—practically showroom-fresh
