2006 Gibson Custom Shop '60s B-25 - Honey Sunburst | Preowned

The Gibson Custom Shop ’60s B-25 is a beautifully executed recreation of Gibson’s classic small-body acoustic, capturing the compact size and distinctive voice that made the original B-25 such a popular instrument. This 2006 example is finished in Honey Sunburst, giving it a warm, understated appearance that suits the guitar perfectly. The combination of a solid Sitka spruce top and mahogany back and sides produces the dry, focused character associated with the B-25, with plenty of warmth and midrange presence while retaining the clarity and responsiveness that make these guitars so enjoyable to play. Its smaller body is particularly comfortable and works beautifully for fingerstyle, blues, vocal accompaniment and relaxed strumming. As part of Gibson’s Historic Collection, this B-25 was built with an obvious appreciation for the original instruments, making it an appealing choice for players who enjoy vintage Gibson acoustics but want the consistency of a Custom Shop reproduction.
