Carr Telstar

The Carr Telstar Combo Amplifier is a true modern classic, hand-built, dripping with vintage soul, and dressed to impress in stunning black tolex. With 17 watts of power and a Carr Valiant 12” speaker, it delivers rich, responsive tones perfect for both the stage and the studio.

What makes the Telstar truly special is its groundbreaking power section. By pairing an EL84 and a 6L6 in a push-pull configuration, this amp captures the best of both American and British voices. From glassy cleans to raw, harmonically rich overdrive, it’s an endlessly inspiring tonal palette. Add in the built-in attenuator (0–17 watts), and you get cranked amp feel at any volume; bedroom to big stage.

With its boutique build quality, lush all-tube spring reverb, and unmistakable visual aesthetic, this Telstar isn’t just an amp, it’s a work of art. Don’t wait—these don’t hang around long.
