There are acoustic guitars… and then there’s the Gibson SJ-200 Original Acoustic/Electric Guitar. Nicknamed the “King of the Flat-Tops,” the Gibson SJ-200 Original is pure acoustic royalty; bold, elegant, and instantly recognizable. First introduced in 1937, this Super Jumbo has powered countless legendary recordings, and the modern SJ-200 Original stays true to that heritage with classic looks, massive presence, and a rich, authoritative voice. From its iconic moustache bridge to the beautifully flamed maple back and sides, this guitar doesn’t just fill a room...it owns it.

Tonally, the Sitka spruce top paired with flame maple delivers a big, piano-like low end, crisp highs, and a focused midrange that cuts through effortlessly. Whether you’re strumming open chords, backing a singer, or taking center stage solo, the SJ-200 responds with clarity, power, and unmistakable character. Plug in via the LR Baggs VTC system and that same magic translates seamlessly to the stage.
