Martin Guitars
*New For 2025
The amount of bass that this guitar generates is simply uncanny. The shorter scale length coupled with the scalloped bracing results in a deep scoop that emphasizes its low rumble and sparkling highs. The overtones shiver and settle in place delicately behind every chord. All that said, the smaller size lends it an intimate precision that makes it extremely easy to communicate with. Playing it is like confiding in (and being well understood by) an old friend. Aesthetically, it harkens back to the first grand concerts to bear the Martin name: aged toned toner on the still shimmery Sitka top, bold herringbone purfling, tortoise pickguard and binding. The back and sides are a rich East Indian rosewood with style 28 inlay down the center. From a feel standpoint, however, it’s geared towards modern versatility with a high performance, satin finished neck with a low-oval profile. It’s as fun to play as it is to hear! Please let us know if you have any questions!

From Martin:
The Martin 00-28 is a trusted choice for players who value rich, resonant tone and effortless playability. Its smaller, comfortable Grand Concert body size delivers a soft yet expressive voice, with clear trebles complemented by warm bass, making it ideal for fingerstyle, intimate strumming, and everything in between. Handcrafted with a solid spruce top and solid East Indian rosewood back and sides, the 00-28 offers deep bass, rich overtones, and exceptional resonance, balanced beautifully for any playing style. The satin neck with a Golden Era (GE) Modified Low Oval profile, high-performance taper, and 24.9" scale length ensures unmatched playability. Elegant touches like bold herringbone top inlay, antique white binding, an ebony bridge with bone pins, and an ebony fingerboard with abalone diamond and square inlays complete its timeless design, making the 00-28 a guitar you can trust to unleash the artist within.
Martin’s refreshed Standard Series for 2025 enhances tone, comfort, and style. Sitka spruce GE top bracing, as featured on the Modern Deluxe Series, delivers vintage-inspired tone and sustain, while updates like a reimagined neck profile, thinner fingerboard, and refined bridge and heel improve playability and aesthetics. Each guitar includes a hardshell case.
